Patch v3.1.10 (6/08/2025)
Hello Blitzers!
Great moments last weeks for our community - stream by beloved @Ch0c0bu and another first time stream by @ZombiesGoNomNom. There were more marketing efforts behind the scenes and we're happy to see week-to-week user growth. This patch has card balance changes and few new ones.
Client Changes
- Blitz Streams are visible in WATCH tab. Any Twitch user with Duelyst: Blitz as category will be shown there (unless blacklisted).
- Fixed second Tutorial mission crashing on iOS.
- Fixed last Solo Challenge mission to be solvable.
Card Changes
We want to see more 5-6 mana cards played, but we don't want to make them absolute table-flippers. In Blitz early advantages should still account to high win chance. Therefore, optimal way to incentivize playing high-curve cards was to tune down card draw options where possible.

Wasn't played at all. Good Obelysk vs Obelysk card. There is a concern of full Obelysk deck, but it dictates low mana curve. Vetruvian seems to need to mix some 5-6 mana cards - and luckily none of them has a strong Dervish synergy. We will monitor if Obelysks end up being OP.

Accidental 2 mana looks good - had a lot of success with translating swarm minions into a bulky one. But 3/3 seems fair.

Spell gets more skill cap and relies on hand usage/draw prediction. Deck building may favor putting less than 3 copies. Has anti-synergy with Alcuin and Rite. Basically solves every Abyssian problem - and is still very strong.

Amazing card, and I'm glad it doesn't have White Widow. Should be useful on it's own and I'm curious to see it in Blitz veteran's hands.
